Dr Arjna Kanagarajah

Dr Arjna Kanagarajah graduated from The University of New South Wales with a Doctor of Medicine, Bachelor of Medical Studies and Bachelor of Science (Honours). He has worked at a variety of hospital in both Queensland and Victoria including the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital, Mater Hospital, Redland Hospital, Ipswich Hospital, Cairns Hospital and Ballarat Hospital.  
 
Arjna has completed hospital placements in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology, psychiatry, rehabilitation, general medicine, general surgery, vascular surgery, orthopedics and neurosurgery. He also completed placements in Emergency medicine, Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthetics. He has undergone further registrar training in Emergency Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine, Urology and Radiology to further develop his skills. Dr Kanagarajah has completed a masters of surgery with the university of Sydney and is currently completing a Master of Critical Care with the University of Sydney.  
 
Arjna likes to travel and have been travelling both within Australia and overseas. Arjna has an interest in modern history, economics and going to the gym. 
 
Arjna is passionate about general practice and has developed an interest in managing critically unwell patients with his experience in critical care medicine. Arjna has also developed his interest in managing paediatric patients whilst working as an Emergency Medicine Registrar.
