Opportunities are available for Medical Practitioners to establish their practice at Capalaba Medical. Capalaba Medical is a long established medical precinct with 25 well-appointed sessional consulting rooms. You will be fully supported by our efficient, professional reception and nursing staff. We are co-located with Radiology, Pharmacy, Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology, Podiatry and Physiotherapy. Capalaba Medical provides access to Best Practice software, online and phone bookings along with a closely monitored, automated recall and reminder system. The facility has 6 treatment rooms, multiple areas for ECGs, spirometry, dressings, ear suction with two operating microscopes and a slit lamp along with training. The centre is open for extended weekday hours and weekends with after-hours cover provided to ensure seamless continuity of care for your patients. Capalaba Medical is extensively equipped and capable of managing many conditions.
Capalaba Medical is located at 189 Old Cleveland Rd, Capalaba, in the Bayside Medical Precinct. CMC is a large, friendly, family-orientated general medical practice and skin cancer service accredited with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Our History
The practice commenced operation in 1976, and has gradually evolved into one of the largest privately owned general practice surgeries in Australia. Our team consists of dedicated, independent doctors, nurses and support staff with decades of clinical and surgical experience.
Because of the large number of doctors with diverse interests, the practice is extensively equipped and capable of managing many conditions that otherwise would require more expensive specialist care. This extensive capability frequently attracts patient referrals from other clinics as well as the local Redland Hospital.
High Standards
The doctors that practice at Capalaba Medical have a commitment to providing a high standard of General Practice care along with continuing medical education. The surgery is an accredited training practice for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners' (RACGP) Australian General Practice Training program (AGPT). We uphold the code of ethics outlined by the AMA and a copy of this code is available for your perusal upon request.
For your safety, infection control protocols are closely followed and naturally all instruments are autoclaved.
