Dr Caron Beck graduated from The University of Queensland with First Class Honours in 1994. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1999.
While practicing all areas of General Practice, Caron has special interest in the treatment of Diabetes including insulin and insulin pump therapy for Type 1 Diabetes, as well as the management of Type 2 Diabetes. She is very aware of the impact that Diabetes and its potential complication can have on a person’s physical and emotional well-being and aims for careful management of blood sugars and other risk factors for complications, including hypertension and high cholesterol. Dr Beck encourages regular monitoring of eyes, feet and kidneys to ensure the best possible health and well-being for people with Diabetes.
Dr Beck also has interests in women’s health, contraception, care of pregnancy, children’s health and immunisations, and chronic disease management
