Dr Alyson Plint

Al is a University of Queensland graduate who worked as a locum for country GPs before returning to Brisbane to complete the FRACGP (Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners). She has been happily settled at Capalaba Medical Centre since late 1994 and enjoys all aspects of general practice.
Alyson started in general practice just as the personal computer began to become something everyone had, and believes that the internet has been a wonderful thing for medicine, opening the library to everyone and making high quality information available to anyone who knows how to look for it. When not at work she most enjoys her family, her friends and her voracious reading, and you will probably catch her trying to check out the cover of the book you bring to the waiting room (harder to do this now so many people use electronic reading devices!) She is married with two teenage children and has had additional training in the management of lactation and breastfeeding.
